Thodoris…. I really don’t think you’d want to…... it’s powered by a 1200cc engine, has drum brakes all around with the stopping power of an elephant drunk on Marula and skating on ice, as well as the roadholding of a castrated bull on rollerskates.
But if you’re going to travel, take me with…. I’ll help push it up hills!!!!
Still, I’m sure that so many of us had so much fun with these old buses (my parents had 2 of them… and they weren’t even hippies!!!

Wonderful shot, sad to know it’s been scrapped. Are they that bad Mugsy, c’mon i’ve had three of them (they say if you remember the sixties you weren’t really there: I’m the abberation: was there and remember). Drove a Kombi around Australia, slept on every beach in the country, likewise Fiji for two years. Kombis rule! So do shots like this.

Ride on! Keep on truckin’. Smoke dope, skip rope and have hope, go united! A far out shot! See we’re not all dead, we just look that way. I owned at least three of these and some of the best times of my life were spent in one including a spiritual journey up the California coast via Hwy 1, surfboard on top. It ended up taking three months and I lived out of my ‘66 everyday. Thanks for this pic it has really brought back some excellent memories.

I hear you Ronald…. we had some great times in ours too – fuel was cheap, it was safe to go where your heart took you….... nostalgia is a growing old disease!
