A well hidden waterfall off the road between Cray and Hubberholme in Wharfedale. After leaving the official path down a small track following the odd footprint left before, climbing over a tree and sliding down a small muddy hill – you come across this lovely little fall. Not signposted and seemingly not on the OS map either.

Stunning capture and waterfall Mat! I’ve not seen this hidden waterfall at all! Well spotted my friend! S:)x

  • Thank you Sandra. It’s unbelievable that its not marked – of the many tens of waterfalls in that area it is easily one of the most beautiful – although it may be that the lack of people is what keeps it that way.

Lets hope it stays that way hey? You’ve found and captured a beauty there Mat – If you’ve got some more images of it I suggest you post them, cos in my opinion it’s gorgeous, and hopefully you’ll get some sales out of it. Good luck!! S:)x

  • Yeah, I have a couple more of this waterfall and a hundred of the many others within a mile of it – so just going through finding what is worth spending some time on adjusting. But thank you very much, hopefully some sales may follow.

Nice one Mat, I certainly don’t know this one, will have to look out for it next time I’m over that way. :)

  • Thank you, it is well worth the little detour – even if you get a little muddy.

Congratulations! Your photo has been featured in “Australia versus the UK, but it’s not cricket!"

This photo was chosen because it was of a very high quality and it captured exactly the sort of work we are looking for in this group.

Please keep up the great work and we hope you continue to add more of your excellent photographs to this group.

  • Thank you very much! Be nice to show Australia what they’re missing!

Very good shot Mat, excellent composure and balance. Those moss covered rocks are magnificent. Congrats on your features.

  • Thank you Mike! I’ll hopefully be uploading a couple more of this same waterfall sometime soon – it’d be nice to see what you think of them too.
