Dresden Womens Church (Frauenkirche), destroyed in the night of 13. and 14. february 1945 at second World War, rebuild between 1994 and 2005.
The Dresden Womens Church is one of the greatest sandstone buildings in the world, the bright bricks are new, the black bricks are original.

    13-14 February 1945 was a dark and shameful day in history. This is a fitting way to correct that. Last time I was there, the Frauenkirche was just a pile of rubble. I should go back and see it restored.
