I just recently made a trip to Yellowstone and this pool is among the most famous of the thermal features. It had been damaged by people throwing coins into it for years and that metal altered the chemistry in the water and changed the color of the pool to what you see here today.

    Regret not being able to make it to Yellowstone for my trip to the US. You have many great pictures that make to want to make the effort to visit.

    I love this pool. I can remember it well from atrip many years ago. Yellowstone is awesome.
