Mark, this is awesome! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that pier, I don’t remember it looking so long I used to go fishing off of it, but it never looked as beautiful as you have made it look.

hahah this shot kind of threw me off for a second, MtnMan! for a second, i thought it was snow in the thumbnail image… then i looked at the title and thought “no way… when was Huntington Beach ever frozen over?!” very nice capture!

Boy what a solid looking pier, it speaks volumes on this regions encounters with storms, beautiful capture.

Excellent composition and perspective. In a way I like the added blue purple color to it. It gives the location a futuristic look, of a cold and icy place. it will be interesting to see the original version with the correct white balance and colors.

Excellent capture of my favorite beach to go to when I lived in Cali!!! Awesome breakwater, colors, DOF, lighting and great angle in which you shot the pier.

I was born in Huntingdon England….....wish it looked even remotely like your Huntington i’d have stayed there!
