Just up the hill from our B & B we walked through an abandoned neighborhood of homes no longer safe to occupy. Years of blasting in the mine caused many of the these homes to slowly slide down the rocky slope. In Arizona.

    this is a fantastic image! it really stood out for me. the stony wall curving down at the front really works for me leading my eye in to the eerie house. the silhouette of the tree and the changing density of the sky in the distance work so well in creating such an eerie scene. great work!

    seriously, if you go back remember “Zinburger @ Grapes” heavenly hamburger marinated in red zinfandel.. oh man i need to get back there.
