For Mom and Dad
This is a watercolor painting I still have that I did in college. My Dad would ask if he could come along on one of my hikes and the rock climbing that it required compelled me to say no he could not. Anyway it it planted the seed for the idea in this painting.

This is AH-MA-ZING and I love the thought that was behind it, because its more than a little endearing. Anyhow, all my favorite color swirling together in one piece…all its missing is a vast amounts of purple (actually, its not missing a damn thing, because its wonderful exactly as is, thats just me being cheeky cuz purple is my FAVorite color)
Mark Ramstead replied
This piece is framed and in my mother’s house in Palm Springs. Ever visit the desert? If you do tell me and I will direct you the house where she lives. Cheeky is good..

I am in Palm Springs at least once a year, even thought about buying a second home there. Something cool and mid-century-ish as a juxtapose to my 1912 craftsman bungalow..;>
Mark Ramstead replied
Let me know, my brother used to live in what you describe. My mother is in a trophy home of her design, she does like purple… but it will be up to you if you want to visit.
