Hey, MtnMan, nice work on this baby! It is truly beautiful. Wonderful composition and superb exposure. I love the touch of vignetting that forces the eye onto the mitten. The purples and pastel blues of the hills in the BG make a wonderful contrast to the reds of the mitten as well! Excellent work, and superb post-processing. Ohhhhhhh.. now I have to go back there.. ;0( This is one of my MOST favcorite places yet.. We had the time of our life in Utah. We set out from CO to go to the Grand Canyon.. wwnt through Utah on the way.. Got to the GC and stayed only one day and said lets go back to Utah and rent a 4 wheeler and go throught the desert instead!!! rhonda

John Ford loved Monument Valley for his westerns. Though little of the western history of the USA took place there. He certainly help make these rocks famous.
