This is one place I would really love to take my camera gear. It would be a real challenge to create something that hasn’t been done before. You’ve pulled it off here. Great lighting, colour, tonal range, depth & composition.

I really love the blues and greens in this one, and the way the twin trees in the foreground so perfectly frame the spectacular panorama behind, almost like the viewer is discovering, or uncovering the view, for themselves.

In California Yosemite is famous. If you come to California it is the one place you would go to if you like natural wonder.

Well next time you could! It was not like the weather was unique, just a typical morning, and a walk up from the tourist pull out, up the steep trail until you see something you like. I was looking for a tree to frame the shot and this appeared.

Yosemite Valley is, so far, my favorite place on earth. Not just for its magnificent beauty, but for nostalgic reasons as well. My Dad took us there every summer for vacation for many years. This photo captures that feeling inside me and then some. Its beautiful and I don’t know how I missed it.

Did you fave it? No matter, I just bought a large print of this image from here. It just arrived and is beautiful in it’s large scale. Redbubble would do well to let us share our images larger for those of us who do not care if they are ripped off or not. I like that you have a thing for Yosemite. I too spent some of my childhood there in those crowded summers. More recently I have taken the half dome hike, which if you have not done , you must do soon. Soon I will need another sip of your writing… : )
