Where did you see this painting??? Suddenly it is being talked about???
Rachel Counts
It is not a painting? It looks like one.
Mark Ramstead replied
Yes it is a painting, a watercolor. How did you find it here? Four people saw it all at once… 4 people I don’t know?
Rachel Counts
It was in the art section, like one of the featured works.
Mark Ramstead
Ah, I could not see it there. Thanks very much.

Sorry, sometimes I forget, (multitasking) painting was hard for me and expensive even when I was in school. I’m older and work is constantly in my way now. I do many other creative things in place of painting, photos, my garden and manips you have not seen here. I hope to paint again when I retire, or sooner if I’m laid off from DHL, we shall see.

Let me tell you why… I had an art teacher Named Connie. She had traveled to Colorado and acquired some rocks, which she then had made made into stone balls. She then laid these on the sea shore and took some photos of them. She then painted a large canvas in a photo realistic style the image of the balls. This inspired me to return the favor. Beach balls in a Colorado waterfall…

wow…look at this water, such a force. and you use only watercolors to bring it alive.

Fabulous watercolour! The balls carried by the flow of water, lift the image out of the everyday and make the viewer stop and think about why they are there…
