Death Harvesting his Field
I own this bone sculpture. I do not know who made it, but it cost me dearly to obtain it. I just want to share it with you all.

Lol Hope I don’t end up like this for awhile yet.

Ha! A fantastic sculpture! Is it human sized? But how could you create such a beautiful garden, and then obtain a sculpture of a dead gardener… ??? That’s a little twisted isn’t it? LOL I hope the food he has harvested is fresher than he is… ;-)
Mark Ramstead replied
The basket is full of individually carved skull beads, glued in however. I collect skull beads when I travel. They seem to be an item in high end boutiques. This came from a New Orleans antique shop before the flood. Twisted has been used to describe me in both a positive and negative way.

Oh is that what they are? wow, what a fantastic concept! It’s an incredible work of art for sure… pity you didn’t use your psychic powers to wait until after the flood before purchasing it, you may have got it for a bargain price then! Or would it have been washed away. :-( Oh… that was bad taste wasn’t it? I mean, the New Orleans flood was both a tragedy and travesty, I still have nightmares of some of the scenes I witnessed from it, I didn’t mean any harm, ‘tis just my cynical sense of humour and way of coping with the shittier things in life.
Mark Ramstead replied
No harm done as yet. Just a neat thing to have, and I’m not even a goth! I wish I was psychic! Then I would mind meld you…

wow how wonderfully different. :)

Fantastic!!!

Fabulos sculpture, really cool & neat, could be The Grim Reaper’s gardener, he carries his rake like The Grim Reaper carries his scythe
Mark Ramstead
Yeah, this thing is unsigned and I have no idea just how valuable it really is. I mean I love it, but I paid a lot for it, so if I went abroad and saw 50 of them on a table for twenty bucks apiece I would shed a tear. I plan to do a more elaborate photo of him with some other skulls I have eventually.

Ash Sivils
I love him, such character!
How tall does he stand?
Mark Ramstead replied
About 12 inches. He was the great find of my trip to New Orleans.

What’s in the pocketbook?
Mark Ramstead
The basket holds carved skulls.. many of them. I collect those, so when I saw this in New Orleans I made an offer… and got this!
