Bare Chests by Bryan D. Spellman

Currently unavailable for purchase

Scanned from a photo taken with a Pentax SLR, I have always liked the juxtaposition of bare-chested Poseidon with the equally bare-chested young man reading so intently on the Malecon at Puerto Vallarta.

Taken May, 2001.

Born in Montana, raised in California, I’ve been holding a camera most of my life. I particularly love photographing the grand landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.

    agreed… what a fun shot………b

  • Gee, when I first submitted this to The Photographer’s Workshop, people thought the human was background noise and should be edited out. I thought otherwise—why else would I have taken the photo this way? Thanks for agreeing with me.

That’s what I call being at the right SPOT at the right time, Bryan.
    I love this one.

  • Thanks, Michael. It was just too good a photo op to pass up, at least imho.
