I am just reading a Terry Pratchett novel again, in which the Smithy’s daughter goes off to be a wizard. This picture is exactly how I imagined that smithy to look. Excellent work!!

I love the softness and strong detail … am personally quite clueless at composition, still taking baby steps, but this looks magnificent to me … the angle of the shot and of your subject really make me WANT to peek over this guy’s shoulder to watch what he’s doing … you’ve increased the interest value in this baby by placing him the way you did. Like I said, I’m a complete know-nothing … but I love what I love!!!!!

I was lucky to get this, had to poke the lens between some heads, a crowd was gathering to see what he was making.
