But not much longer! Guess WHO returns to BBC America September 1st! And it does seem like a big chunk of timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly stuff has passed since the last installment, doesn’t it?

You have an avid Who friend in the talented Matt Mawson … have you seen his work?

  • Thanks, Bruce! Oh, yes I know Matt’s work. Awesome stuff! In fact the Bubble’s overwhelmed with Whovians! I co-host the Sci Fi Group so it’s been my pleasure to encounter most of them, I think. Probably going to meet some more, as I just put a challenge up in honor of the Doc’s return September 1st… that’s the thing about the Bubble. Where else would I be doing that?! lol! If nothing else, it’s a WHOLE lot of fun! :)

Guess this means we’ll be seeing more of these fantastic creations? Good!

  • Thank you SO much Monnie!!! Your comment really makes me day!! LOL (Seriously… so very encouraging!) I did this one to introduce a challenge (Sci Fi, of course) but yes, I think I’m finally getting back into the swing of things! Really appreciate your support, my friend!

For whatever reason, I have never watched Doctor Who, before, so I did catch an episode this morning…Strange! I will have to see what’s in store in the new season. Werewolves and Harpies aren’t exactly my thing, but I understand, as time travelers, they could go most anywhere. I mean, any show that has a K-9 chemical laboratory can’t be all that bad! :-)

  • Well, it’s pretty much a thing you have to watch from the beginning… not THE beginning, necessarily (goes back to 1963!) but I’d definitely recommend starting with the “new” incarnation of the show which made its grand debut in 2005 with an episode called “Rose.” Even if you didn’t catch the old originals, you can get a real sense of what it’s all about; otherwise it must seem REALLY strange! LOL! Sounds like you watched “School Reunion.” That one’s a HUGE favorite with the fans because the doc’s old companion from the “long, long ago” returned… (Sarah Jane Smith)… AND, so did K-9 his old, faithful robot-dog! I tell ya ~ ~ not a dry eye, anywhere. heh!! But again you’d have to be familiar with the history there. Otherwise it’s like you’ve tuned into Star Trek~ the new movie~ going, “Who ARE these people?” ha ha! (Is there ANYBODY out there, who has not seen Trek????)

Thanks for commenting! Guess you can tell, I “kinda” like the doctor! :))
