Wow! Of all the gin-joints in all the galaxy, in all the parallel dimensions in all the Multi-Universe, you walked into this one, and so did I!

Yeah, right… how convenient! Is this honey on the level, or could it be a trap? How many lady-Crowe’s exist? Well, if there’s one I guess there’s a multitude of others in a multitude of alternate universes. Still! Gypsy could be right, someone here’s in Deep Do Do (could be everyone)! You gotta watch those parallel-dimension drinking holes.

Tom and Crowe’s Un-Excellent Adventure – 17

The Saga Continues…
Inspired by Dr. Who, MSTK-3…. and Margaritaville!

This one evolved when I decided I would make a Lady Crowe. Kinda hot – yeah?? lol!!! Crowe seems to think so…

Background is a bar interior (my photo) with added decor (custom posters, etc). Tables are from stock (3rd table – zememz ) as are the cool silver robots to the left (robot11 by TexelGirl). Daleks aren’t allowed in here so maybe they finally lost him! Doubt it though… :))

You can see the rest of the series here

The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery. Francis Bacon

Having great fun with the saga . . . thanks, Nadya!

  • I think I unleashed a monster, here… ! LOL! When I was a kid, I did comic books for my dad’s birthday every year ~ ~ “Prescott Pete and his Pals,” which in turn was inspired by Walt Kelly’s “Pogo” (and yes, rather similar; he had the possom, the gator, the hound dog ~ I had a coyote, a kit fox and a bobcat among other, supporting characters. I wish I had them now!! But my uncle said, “OH, I got a guy who’s gonna make you rich with this!” and off they went, never to be seen again. Well, maybe I’ll return to doing comics! heh heh It really is fun. Not with these guys though, I’ll have to drum up some originals. Either way, good practice! Believe it or not, I’ve had more problems with the print than anything. But I think I’ve finally got it down. Glad you’ve liked the saga! Thanks! :))

  • Thank you, Liz! I used to do comics as a kid, mostly for my dad’s birthday. Every year, a book: Prescott Pete and his Pals, starring a coyote. Looks like I’m on my second childhood, now! lol! (No, wait, I never left the first one.) :)) I appreciate your comment!

Not a bad place to hang out for a few days, at least! Cool!

  • Thanks, Monnie! The bar is a real place.. I wanted to use a shot from the bar we used to own in Mexico (it would have fit the music better!) but darned if I could find one, when I wanted to. This one of course, is in some other universe so things could go well here ~ ~ ~ or not! lol! Appreciate you comment!

    This is great

  • Thank you, Syd! This craziness began when I decided I would join several members of the Sci Fi Group who are doing action-figure series (one a day, for a YEAR – so they say!). Well, I have the action figures but unlike theirs, mine do not have legs! Not too posable… I decided I would work in Photoshop (where I can give them arms and legs and make them do what I like). It began as a lark (still is) but I have to tell ya, I have learned a lot about cartooning! And it’s such fun, too. Appreciate your comment, glad you liked it! :))
