Snowfall / Chicago Illinois (USA)

From a slide. I haven’t lived there for awhile now.. took this in the late 90’s on Hoyne St. near North Avenue in Wicker Park (Chicago). Once called “Brewers’ Row,” the area was settled by brewery owners as the name implies. Most were from Germany. They did their best to emulate the architecture from their homeland and as a result, grand Gothic mansions still typify the neighborhood today.
