This feed mill is not too far from where we live in Illinois. It almost looks as though it’s made of cardboard! But it’s not, it’s stood the test of midwest weather and the elements for many decades (not sure when it was built, only that it’s been around a good long time). And yes, it’s still in business now.

It was raining when I took this but the downpour is enhanced with Photoshop.

April showers! Nice one, Nadya. :-)

  • Thanks, Pete! I don’t know about April Showers: so far it’s been massive downpours, monster thunderstorms and tornado warnings! Lightning nearly hit the house last night and “there went our internet.” At least we didn’t lose power (or computers!) Come to think of it, it felt like Florida. LOL!

Terrific job on this one, Nadya!

  • Thanks, Monnie! Seeing quite a bit of this, the last few days. Last night, a monster lightning bolt nearly zapped the house and our internet went out (all day today, but we finally got it back.) The Fun Begins! I welcome spring and warmer weather but I rather hate to put the Weather Channel on and see Illinois in Red! :-o (I keep saying I will try to photograph the lightning, but I can’t exactly get a photo if I’m hiding in the laundry room! lol)

WOW! This came out GREAT, Nadya! :)))

  • Thanks! I’d forgotten where this was. Hadn’t seen it in awhile, figured maybe they had torn it down. Now we pass it all the time. It’s between Milledgeville and Sterling. Did you catch any photos of the recent Monster Lightning???
