“The controversy continues.” Is the United States in war for capital gain or for the safety of America?
Colin Powell, U.S. Secretary of State, once said “War should be the politics of last resort. And when we go to war we should have a purpose that our people understand and support.”
The war on terrorism started on October 7, 2001, as a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks. George Bush would say the war on terrorism is to find terrorist. But the question to ask is why haven’t we found the terrorist yet? The answer is why some Americans feel, that George Bush has an ulterior motives for being in Iraq. Some Americans feel like the United States is over there to find oil. It’s easy to figure out why, so the powerful and wealthy become even more powerful and wealthy. While they continue to hurt the middle and poor classes.
How could some congress and the president stand back and let thousands die, while they are in the safety of the White House. The United States supposedly has the best Military Services in the world. So why is Mr. President not telling the Americans we won yet?
What would happen if in two years a real war on terrorism camp up? The troops would be over in Iraq fighting a useless war for oil. “We the people” need to come together and get Bush to call back the troops that are still alive in Iraq and get him to apologize to all the people who lost a dad, mom, son, daughter, wife, husband, sister, brother or even a friend in the war that is not totally supported by America.
It is time to wake up and realize that George Bush is the terrorist.
