Mark Leeds is a talented artist helping to lead the way for the recognition of computer generated art as a valuable medium of expression.
Mark was a victim of a robbery in 1989 in which he suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was left to die in a parking lot. A determined soul, he refused to give up the will to live and miracously survived. With the inspiration and support of his family, friends and the local community college instructors, he has moved forward with his life.
Following his accident, as he calls it, he took a one hundred and eighty-degree turn. He began to revitalize his life by enrolling as a state rehab student studying Art at Coastline Community College in California. Prior to his accident, Mark had never taken a computer course related to Graphic Art, Layout, or Design.
He soon become fascinated with the world of computer art and has spent countless hours exploring the computer as a way of self-expression. He has become one of the first students to earn a Certificate in Graphic Art at Coastline Community College as well as his A.A. degree in Art with honors. Mark has also as of June 2003 completed his B.A. at California State University Long Beach.
He is a member of the Huntington Beach Art League where he has accumulated a large collection of ribbons in competitive shows including three “best of shows”. He is also a member of San Diego’s Digital Art Guild which actively promotes digital artists.
Mark welcomes you with his new innovative style, where emotional abstraction awakens the senses using vivid color and design.

The loss of a loved one, / the despair, the loneliness, / can be turned around by thoughts of good times, / the sharing, the caring. / There is knowledge in knowing that they will always be there for …
We all sail into troubled waters, / Once we have entered, / the idea now is to keep afloat, / Maintain the course, / and don’t be distracted, sail on.
