finds a way to spark,
to glimmer and shimmer,
whether oil or water invades it,
pervades it, clashes or infuses.
Once the heartbeat has started,
next thing you know, all you know
at molecular level, in your marrow,
pierced through bone, it leaves
everything else (everyone) forgotten,
an after-thought, somewhat meaninglesss.
is not concerned with your plans,
your agenda, it demolishes
your schedule, your carefree
manner, and whispers Stop.
So if I fall from the sky,
let the message be simple.
I would hover in the divine light,
certain love can shred the night
of all its terrors and tears,
all the anxiety I once held in fear.
My sun and stars,
I am here to hear your bell.
A ring of purity and truth,
with the beauty of everything.
Like stardust, you sprinkle
my cat eyes with sparkling
diamonds, crystallized meaning.
I no longer feel my heart
slowly congealing, like
a fist has been clamped
over my chest, whispering
For you there is no rest.
I can rest with my head
peaceful upon your chest.
I can clasp at your hand,
entwine it like ivy with
the knowledge we are blessed.
Two stanzas I felt were out of place now reworked in this poem
Searching for love
