Ocracoke Lighthouse and Out Buildings by

Found on an island only reachable by ferry, this solitary lighthouse is visible to the naked eye from around the island of Ocracoke, NC.

This image was converted to black and white, and texturized to bring out the whiteness of the lighthouse against the background of trees and fencing.

This shot was taken with a Nikon D700 using a 24-70mm aspherical lens (ISO 200, FL 44mm, A f/10, SS 1/400). It was converted to black and white using Aperture, and texture added with Photoshop.
