Light filters through the branches of a fir tree, highlighting stark green and soft blue textures and colored hues.
Pine cones seem to sparkle in the branches, offering a swizzled image of twisted trees.
Using an AF-S 24-70mm 2.8G ED lens, this photo was taken with a Nikon D700 as a 5-image multiple exposure. Each of the 5 “snapshots” was rotated 90 degrees to obtain the circular oriented resulting photo.
Aperture was then used to accent the deeper tones of the central tree and lighter tones of the surrounding trees and sky.
