A maze of barren trees stand off the beach, all gnarly and barren offering a lonely and stark venue. Like a maze, it offers a destination to places unknown.

This photo was taken at Kure Beach NC with a Canon PowerShot G9. I located the shot down the length of the forest of trees, rather than through the width, which provided ever-more tree trunks in the capture.

Note: featured in “Images and Ideas”, “Shapes and Patterns”, top 10 in “Students and Beginners”, “Trees”, “The Best of Redbubble, Digital Art and Photography”, “4 Winners Only” and “This, That and the Other Thing”

I was a professional photographer, now turned back to amateur so I can focus once again on the joy and fun of photography, rather than photography as work. I always looki for new and innovative techniques to push the envelop on novel photographic results.
