Was trying to capture the little bird flying around and followed it behind some bushes and discovered that it was feeding a baby bird that must have fallen from the nest. There were three birds working to feed this giant baby. DSL Canon Mk II, 100-40000mm, Focal Len 330 ISO 640 1/800 @ f/5.6

    Thanks, I think that the mama is a Gnatcatcher and the baby is a cowbird. Cowbirds are notorious for leaving their eggs in other bird’s nest and flying away to have the foster bird raise the fledging

    Mac what an excellent picture of this “strange couple”. As a baby it is already bigger than the mother…lol! You are always able to find strange views on nature!
