4 Layers
First layer was actually part of a backdrop used for one my photo shoots at a ballet recital. I used corel paint shop pro to do all of my work on this image. On the 1st layer, I used a flood filter and then I used a filter zombie, which gave the image a night time look.
For the second layer, which is the moon; I used a preset shape called ellipse to make the moon, On the moon layer;I then used flood fill tool and chose the color white to fill in the ellipse shape. Still on the second layer (moon), I went to my opacity and brought it to 93 and then on the blend mode, I used difference to blend into the first layer image. I went back to my first layer, and then I used adjust,
brightness and contrast and curves settings
on input 195 and output on 189.For the 3rd layer, it is simply a star; I used a preset shape to make the star and then the flood fill in tool with the color white to make it an actual white star. The fourth layer is a werewolf stock photo, I erased the background and selected to move the fourth layer onto the existing image. I then adjusted the fourth layer to a greyscale. Still on the fourth layer I adjusted again with brightness and contrast and curves, I used the settings 253 for the input and 179 for the output. After looking at my completed image, I wasn’t
really pleased with the star. So I simply clicked on my background layer and then I chose the clone tool, and then went to my layer 2 which was the star, I simply put my cursor on the star and cloned it away. Now that I am satisfied with my work, I will now click file and save the image which will merge all of my layers together.
I hope I have explained these steps well enough, for others to do the same type of work.
