My name is Melanie & I started my creative journey as a Jeweller finishing my apprenticeship back in 2000. I left the industry about 8 years ago & spent that time moving around Eastern Australia. I have decided to settle in Melbourne with my husband where I hope to be inspired by the wonderfully creative people in this city!
I feel like I am starting the design process all over again and would love any hints or tips that anyone would like to throw my way.
My favourite artist is Jeffery Smart and I love all things cubism & art deco!
I did study applied and visual arts before I took on my jewellery apprenticeship but unfortunately my love of wine & partying has compromised my brain cells & I don’t remember much of those days lol!
I like to work in acrylic & love to doodle, there’s not much on my site but I hope to change all that in the near future!!!!
