Only Daughter Of The Sun
I wrote this poem when I was a teenager going on holidays to the beach in Port Fairy, Victoria.
The sea is the only daughter of the sun
She is the almighty one
With a power risen from God’s soul
One of which we cannot control
What is control?
We are all just grains of sand in the ocean
We get caught in the white wash and tumble in motion
Please do not treat her in vein
Because one day the plug may get pulled
And all will drain.
