Like it was yesterday!!

Well into his nineties and I hope to do that well, in thirty years’ time!!

Mr Kees Santifort, came along to the Sinterklaas celebrations, at the Rembrandt Club, St Marys, (Sydney), as one of the guests, from the Abel Tasman Retirement Village (Chester Hill, Sydney).
Kees, who is a couple of years older than my father (who is 91) remembers meeting me, in 1957, when he and his wife, were friends, with friends of my parents and lived in Paddington.
My father now has some problems with his (short-term) memory.
Not Kees ! No problems at all. He brought me up-to-date with what happened to the mutual family friends when he and I met again a year or so back, in the Ten-Pin Bowling Centre, in Campelltown.
There are four of us left now, who remember spending those Friday evenings, watching Sugarfoot and The Naked City, in black and white, on t.v., at the Family de Vries’ house, in Paddington, in late 1956, early 1957.
