I see links! (The Botany Historical Trust).

On a CD which I play-to-death, Bob Hope says: I walked into Slapsie Maxie’s the other day to see that new comedy pair Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. THey were in the middle of their act.
Yesterday, I walked into a crowded auditorium, and the first person was in the middle of her speech.

Yesterday, at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, of the Dutch Australian Cultural Centre, in the Consulate-General of the Netherlands, Bondi Junction, with cup of coffee in hand, I talked to the guest speaker, Maie Barrow about matters Estonian-Australian.

The last thing she mentioned was her involvement with the Botany Historical Trust.
Today, I walked in late, at the Volunteers Awards presentation where fellow D.A.C.C. Board Member, Jan Mees, was to receive an award, as one of earliest members of the Centre, and a popular hard working volunteer, serving the Dutch community in both Sydney and Newcastle (More details elsewhere.)>

The first thing I heard the speaker mention was: the Botany Historical Trust!
Apart from the presence of award recipient, Mr Jan Mees and the presence of fellow board members, in the audience, these two events had nothing to do with the Botany Historical Trust.

It’s only for me that it felt like: O.K..You’re late but this is where we were last up to!

By the way, I was also pleased to see that the volunteers who look after the coast-line, caring for the environment of South West Rocks, added yet another award to their significant collection.
Hopefully, elsewhere, on my part of the Redbubble site (or the www) you will have seen my report(s) on visiting the area to assess the beaches for the Keep Australia Beautiful, Clean Beach Challenge.
It’s so good to see the work of volunteers recognised.
