Our Dutch Australian Genealogy Group meeting was, once again in the Function Room of the Abel Tasman Village. 222 Waldron rd Chester Hill. NSW.
Date: Saturday `14th May 2011
For our May meeting we had a special treat in the form of Chris Lindesay from the Heraldry & Genealogy Society in Canberra!
Chris Lindesay talked with a “Dutch” flavour touching on the resources of DNA research.
The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra Inc. was established in 1964.
Members of The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra enthusiastically pursue their passion for heraldry.
They meet regularly to discuss topics of interest and actively campaign for the establishment of an Australian Heraldic Authority, and an improved design of the Australian Capital Territory flag. They undertake ‘outreach’ activities giving lectures to students, and providing advice on heraldic design.
