Today, at the Annual General Meeting, of the Dutch Australian Cultural Centre, held at the Consulate-General of the Netherlands, in Bondi Junction, the speakers were: guest, Anneke Boudewijn, current presenter of SBS Dutch language radio programs and DACC Hon. Treasurer, Theo ten Brummelaar, one of the pioneers, of the program, broadcasted, originally via Sydney’s Radio 2EA.(The studios once having rocked to 2SM music, well before the 2EA days.) .

    The audience reaction was interesting.
They laughed when Mr Ten Brummelaar played back a cassette recording of the jingle that used to introduce those early Dutch Language programs, in the late seventies.

Think of current generations of Australians laughing at the tune of Road to Gundagai, introducing another episode of Dad ‘n Dave!!
    ……
As listeners gathered eagerly around the radio to hear rare, favourite programs!!
