She’d been sent out to meet my father, in the 1930s …and stayed together for three quarters of a century.
Johannes Maria, my father.
He was named after his father and his aunt: Johannes Maria. Something which embarrassed him the rest of his life.
Back to Chester Hill.
It started when the management of the retirement village discovered that they needed the D.A.C.C. building for dementia care and then discovered that the building was not suitable.

You’d think I’d be biased towards Bondi but …no matter how beautiful Bondi Beach might be, the people who had nominated Manly Beach that year, had pulled out all stops!
