Long Since Forgotten
This is a touch up of the original Rusty Axe that I posted for critique here
The background has been deleted and a soft focus has been added for ambiance. This axe shaft has been repaired using leather strapping. The strapping has been hand sewn tight and the leather has dried out and become quite stiff. This axe is handmade by a company still in business today that no longer makes these types of axes. This axe was hand forged in Scranton Penn. It is likely well over 100 years old. A beautiful piece of art and history.
