I love the New York Skyline! This photograph was shot from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. I got to the Brooklyn Bridge area at about 4:00 p.m. and moved back and forth between the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, the Brooklyn Bridge Park, and DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) for nearly 9 hours until after 1:00 a.m. capturing daylight, twilight and night shots of the skyline. Exhilarated but exhausted, I got back to my tiny Brooklyn hotel room at 2:00 in the morning! This was one of the most beautiful nightime skylines I have ever had the joy of photographing!
