If you’re visiting England, then a very pleasant stroll is along the walkway which follows the Thames at Windsor. Graceful swans with a regal air parade up and down this famous waterway. Artist Al Benge captured the scene with one of his black and white sketches.
“In between feeding the royal swans, it was very enjoyable to sit and sketch the river scene at Windsor. There is something very relaxing about this stretch of water, and i tried to capture the peaceful scene with the familiar pedestrian bridge and old buildings in the background, with a line technique, highlighting blocks of solid blacks and contrasting with more detailed linework.”
