If you’re a keen photographer or artist, you’ll find some interesting subject matter at Mooloolaba, on Queensland’s Sunshine coast. Artist Al Benge has this to say about his original composition.
" Boats are a favourite of mine, because there is always a wealth of material waiting to be recorded where land meets sea. I did this sketch using acrylics, and working from a pen and ink base, added various tints and shades to depict fishing boats at twilight. I tried to contrast the black shadowy shapes with white highlights where the evening sun was glancing off the boats. It was an enjoyable scene to paint in a very scenic spot. – just wish I could afford to live by the water, maybe will have to sell a few more prints/pictures on redbubble first ! "
