" We’d just sat down for a cuppa and a slice of cake, when along came this Robin, Sally dipped in her pocket and held some corn in her hand and he perched on her finger and picked them all out,
How great to be that close to a wild creature.
The first robin arrived and heralded in Spring.
From out of dust life came to flies and buzzards;
The birds soon followed.
They chirped as the wind blew south in the dry air.
Spring had arrived and so has life come alive once again.
With each rising sun there is a new visitor to greet the morning air.
And so too pairs of lovers each seeking to impress their mate.
Dancing and singing as if God was on display.
And he is! smiling at all his creatures moving about on earth.
For Spring has come to this part of the land
And the air rejoices with wonderful sounds.
