Three nights of flame, food and spectacle in The Rocks.

Take a journey back to 1814 as a ghostly convict ship emerges from the dark waters of Campbells Cove and explodes into flame. Featuring a stunning re-creation of the fire that devastated the 19th-century convict ship the Three Bees sending its cannon balls blazing across the harbour, Fire Water brings history to life in a unique free harbourside event never seen before in The Rocks.

For three nights only fire sculptures, light installations, music, floating lantern workshops, flame-grilled food from local restaurateurs and the dramatic burning of the Three Bees will turn The Rocks into a spectacularly warm winter haven.

Geez Bill, you should think of getting a fire extinguisher for your next party boat.

  • Hey John, funny you mention that. There was one right next to me as they had small fire bins going as well around the foreshore. Cheers,

Ahhhh… so that’s what it looks like. Tried to get close enough last night but there were too many people. Nice shot.

  • Hey Rick, mate, I was about a rock throw away from the boat. There were stacks of people as well but I camped my tripod from 5.15pm for the 6.15pm show. No problems. lol
