Thats really cool Mr Baxter, but one question. Does this mean that its 15% off the RB base price, or does it also mean 15% off our mark up? For people selling with a low mark up, a 15% cut could seriously effect their small profit, so it would be nice to know so that we can adjust accordingly if needed.

I have given this remark a lot of thought. I found it deeply offensive. I am not a NASA scientist but I have studied physics. I really doubt that we went ot he moon 40 years ago. We simply did not have the technology. I think Pres. JFK wanted to pursue space because he saw the Soviet Union building a space program. I think he had the best interst of the American people at heart. I have met Buzz Aldrin and found him arrogant and repulsive. The other astronauts have been very silent about the moon landings. NASA claims to have “lost” the original photos of the first landing. With that being said, we did pursue a space program and developed the space shuttle. I have been on site when they launched. The space program has led to great leaps in technology. Your cell phones, ipods, blackberries, GPS systems, and many other things we use everyday to improve our lives were born from the space program. If we did not go to the moon 40 years ago, I am sure we will someday. We have an international space station where several countries are working together. In recent years, we know that the earth has had some near misses with large meteors (one was the size of an aircraft carrier). In about 10 years, from what I have read, an asteroid will pass very close to the earth. I hope that someday we will have a way to protect the earth from a possible collision with a meteor or asteroid that could could destroy the Earth. I clicked on the link to buy t-shirts but was so put off by the remark about Armstrong’s “acting debut” that I chose not to buy. Lots of luck with those sales. I hope they turn out to be “real.”

Whatever we believe about the moon missions, I enjoy redbubble. I buy and sell artwork. I work many hours a day hosting groups and all that entails and I give it my best. I wish redbubble every success. This past week in the US we celebrated man’s first mission to the moon. Whether it really happend or not, I celebrate our ability to dream and reach for the impossible. Thank you for your response. I need to make some shirts and buy them. They make good gifts.
