Mr Baxter says "What do you think?"

A wise man once said to me “That’ll be 3.98, do you need a bag?” which got me to thinking, what if I can double the love of this Picture/T-Shirt of the Week concept?

How about when you lovely bubblers, on your day to day travels around the site, notice any new people that make your eyes open slightly wider in awe, you come back here, to a ‘special place’ I will make. Then leave a link, and a comment as to why you like an image or tee of theirs. Then I’ll pick the best new work, and pimp you both up in my weekly post. Might even send you both a special medal or something.

    Well I think it doesn’t matter too much, couple of months, perhaps just unnoticed. Perhaps they can have been around for a while but haven’t had much attention and they really deserve it?

    Writing and journals would be great too Mr Baxter. There are so many talented writers on RB and new people joining all the time. It would be awesome to give them a little bit of the spotlight.

    Yes I have no problem with that.
    I think maybe we’d just do writing, I think the newer peoples aren’t writing many journals to start, except for introductory ones.
    perhaps it’s just ‘Work of the Week’ and there’s no distinction between mediums?

    Great idea. But you seem flexible Mr Baxter (those calisthenics classes come in handy, don’t they). If I see a journal of a newbie that really knocks my sox off, you won’t be overly annoyed if I nominate?

    Of course I won’t be annoyed. You can nominate anything you like really. I was thinking of perhaps a ‘highly amusing comment of the week’ section too.

    I am most flexible. The wife is very happy about it.

    I am abosutely blown away by likefleetwood. She is merely 18 years old and is already creating such beautiful and whimsical artworks such as

    There is something so incredibly innocent about these works yet they hold a great deal of wisdom and eloquence beyond the years of the creator. The pallet that likefleetwood uses is child like yet has a ‘retro feel’. I really can’t stop looking at her work. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I. Oh and there are many, many more examples of genius at work, like:
