Mr Baxter's T-Shirt of the Week - Part Two

Hello World!

Yes, it’s Wednesday AGAIN, so it must be T-Shirt of the Week. Every seven days I’ll take a gander at the recent uploads of tees and find one that catches my eye, then post it here, write about it and even link to it from my Twitter account.

The winning shirt will be on sale at a 0% markup for the week, and any sales generated in that time will get the artist a 60% margin in RedBubble vouchers.

They will also receive a special commemorative certificate and of course fame, not the sort that sends you crazy though.

T-Shirt of the Week Champion – Week Twoseanseen

This has that wonderful and unique feel of being made with a human hand and a pencil. Well I mean it shouldn’t be unique, most of us have hands and pencils, but sometimes it feels that way.
Seriously, look at that turntable, it really has no idea where it’s perspective is, how marvellous, I wish my turntable looked like that, and it’s playing a yellow vinyl. What could it be? The re-release of Yellow Submarine? The special edition of The Velvet Underground and Nico? Who knows, but what on earth are you doing upstairs? Get down there and cut some moves across your 1968 Ege Rya shag-pile rug. Or just go and see who’s fiddling with your record collection.

A well placed, well coloured and nicely styled drawing.

Good Work Seanseen.

Now go show him some love.

I love your interpretation of this fine tee design. The design reminds me of when I was younger and my friend had a pink record player we would play our records on …. Congratulations seanseen. :)

  • Mr Baxter works here  replied

I think the colour of the record player directly influences the quality of the enjoyment.

Today being what it is it’s probably a bloody Michael Jackson song.

For the purposes of international quality control and keeping-the-worker-bees-happy, I would like to suggest that you send me one of these fine tees for personal inspection. Size large, colour up to you.

Thanks for your comments folks and for the record, the record is a recording of my world record recorder playing record. Nah.. I like the mad beats idea, maybe followed by some classic Neil Young.. Pink record players are awesome – this tee looks magnificent in bright pink! – Sean
