one of my first shots ever with a ‘real’ camera.found the object hanging in the tree already.
nikon fe, 35mm, kodak tri-x pan
mannequin, dangling, 1981
LOL, oh what I’d of given to find this in a tree…I just noticed the film you used. Remember how you loved the film grain effect in my shot? Well thats the exact film grain I use in Silver Efex Pro (Kodak TMax 400) :)
oops you got me confused here. because that grain is way finer than in your famous pic. so i looked the code on the negative up on this page and found that it must have been a kodak tri-x pan, one that was used in low speed, fine grain photography. sorry, my friend i will correct it immediately. and thanks for pointing it out to me. :-))
LOL, I did wonder how fine the grain was…although I’m not sure whether I used the TMax 400 or the TMax 3200 effect now, as when I originally did that shot I was obsessed with the 3200…it was very grainy wasn’t it, lol
Well that is just too freakin cool! What a find…totally surreal. :)
haha. glad you like it. it was my favorite shot for a long time. one of my first ones too.
Disembodied wow great findlove this stark shot
well, i cannot say it is inspired by your work as it is way older than photoshop but some resemblance with some of your art cannot be denied. maybe it is an early quote of what would later be created.
;-))and of course, i hoped you would like it.
