You have captured the scene so well.
thank you indrani. i am happy you noticed this pic.
…and thanks for the fav too…
Nice one ! The b&W specially brings out the drudgery of the task ..despite which she has a lovely smile on her face !
yes thank you shubd she does. in fact all of those lovely people i met there, had. despite of their hard life. for me, being used to having hot water and cold water in drinking quality at liberty, it is difficult to imagine how it is if you have to pump and carry back to the house every little squirt of water for the whole family. by the water our little 3 person houshold consumes, i would be pumping and carrying all day long….
very beautiful – I love the burnt sunlight, the shininess of the spilled water and how she balances on the wall.
thank you hsien-ku for noticing so many details, the gracefulness of this lady’s moves and the preciousness of spilled water …thank you for your favs.
a beautiful photo, remind me of my childhood days…
really?thanks a lot for your many favs, salomon.;-))

thanks a lot charmiene. they certainly don’t have an easy life there, pumping every drop of water up and carrying it on the head to the house.
