While visiting the city (Philadelphia) this past week, I walked a lot. Most of these treks were through small alleyways, beautifully maintained neighborhood parks, and courtyards. It’s spring, and everyone seems to have planted beautiful flowers – happy flowers – flowers that thrive amongst the doorways, paving stones, and in small spaces that could have been wasted but are used to their fullest potential.
Wisteria easily takes over any location when left to it’s own devices. Here it managed to escape all attempts to control it and it now flowers in glorious abandon throughout the cherry tree and up the chimney.
