There are a number of ships’ anchors lines up along a path that takes visitors beside Oyster Pond in Quissett, CApe Cod, Massachusetts, USA. One of the anchors is said to come from the HMS Bounty – really.
The ocean is right across the road from Oyster Pond, and this garden is situated to look over the pond toward the sea. The six acre Spohr Garden is privately owned but open to the public by the kindness of the family. It is well worth a visit.
