New Women’s Chiffon Tops. They’re just so chiffon-y.
These mushrooms were growing in the woods in Green Lane, PA. The forest is hardwoods, and the topsoil extremely thin as this area is glacial moraine. This photograph was taken July 27, 2008. Sorry, but I don’t know what type of mushroom this is.

Although I don’t see the trama well, only a small part, I think this is Royoporus badius (Pers.) A.B. De. Easily recognizable due to the very narrow pores (8-10 per millimeter!). Common all over the world (just photographed this species yesterday, that’s why I have so big face, he-he). Regards, László
They sure are pretty, aren’t they. Your website is amazing. I’ll have to take some time (using Google to translate to English) and look through this terrific data base!
