Heaven Scent - Running Wild by

This title is a play on words because Wisteria is so delicately lovely and fills the air with glorious perfume – it is, indeed Heaven sent:>), It is also running wild through the woods. It must have escaped from an old farm nearby about 100 years ago, and now it can’t be stopped. Might as well enjoy it and let the groundhogs eat their fill. Food for the critters and food for the soul:>)

I used a texture from Belle Fleur, changed color, modified the transparency, and did some tweaking of my photo in Photoshop.

I love nature, science, poetry, prose, art, music – you name it! Now that I’m retired, time is mine to spend as I wish (pretty much), and I wish to take pictures of our natural world.

Bringing the outdoors in for others to see, especially those who may not get the opportunity to wander next to a pond, fish at the beach, or tramp in the woods, is a pleasure. I hope to build a window to the wonders of nature that fill our everyday lives.

So gorgeous my dear, and you want to hear something? I wrote a haiku called heaven scent and it had to do with the smell of lilacs as they were my mom’s favorite. this is very beautiful and very special, love it. xoxxoxoxxooxoxox

  • This is a lovely comment. I would truly enjoy reading your haiku – they aren’t long and I love the spare nature of them. Lilacs are a favorite of mine and after many. many years our son gave me a baby bush he’d pampered and coddled from a cutting. It is now one year old, small, but looking very healthy and happy:>) A perfect gift! Thank you very much for coming by!
