Another in the experiments to create a new series of GRRRRLS of the “BYOG: bring your own growl” family. Trying to find a look somewhere between the fashion dolls of Julie Nutting’s work and the Venus of Willendorf from the Paper Doll Book by Leandra Spangler.

She is created in a digital landscape, but many of the layers included here are actually made from high res scans of mixed media visual art that was done on canvas or paper. Other layers play with shape, color, filter, texture. Over 20 layers mixed and matched to make this new landscape.
