I come from a rural background in gippsland, a beautiful part of australia, mountainous and green with endless beaches and waterways, my blood is diverse celtic. koori, moari my grandmother was one of the stolen generation I have allways had a great interest in the mythology of my ancestors from an early age, I have no formal training I see my art as cultural symbolism, an act of impressionistic visualisation , much of it without the use of photograph or place as a referance prefering to dream or obcess over a thought or feeling to bring about image as an act of visualisation , or manifestation in the minds eye considering that nature and universe is mind and that great source, creator, god, goddess is creating with mind . Much of what l do could be called classical leaning towards post impressionism. .
