I am saving up for a canon eos 400d, but wanted to see if any of you are using one or have used one?!
Please be kind enough to let me know what you think of it?
At the moment I am using a Canon Eos 620, not a digital one, is the canon 400 a good move?
Thankyou guys!

I have used a 400D for.. almost a year now and I love it.
That could be because it’s my first DSLR (and SLR) but I do not have any serious complaints. The only issues I have with it is the (relatively) small grip and viewfinder, but if they were perfect then there would be less market for the 40D (which I’d love but as of now cannot commit the extra cash to).
As far as image quality goes I believe it is as good as it gets for a 1.6x crop factor, it’s just a little more awkward to use for those without tiny hands, has quite a small viewfinder and has a plastic, non-weather-resistant body, as opposed to the more expensive magnesium-alloy clad DSLRs.
Hope this helps.

Thankyou Akira!
That is really helpful, I have tiny hands, so it shouldn’t be a problem to me, infact quite the opposite!

I’ve had my 400D since last year and I’ve got no complaints about it.
I’d second the thing about it being a little small for large hands (being a bloke with largeish hands I notice this) but, other than that, I’ve got no complaints.
It is/was also my first dSLR (although not my first SLR) so I don’t have anything to compare it against, so you might want to keep that in mind.
